If you thought "Florida man" was sketchy, you might want to get a load of the latest "Missouri couple" to make national headlines.
The Smoking Gun reports that Tanya Lynn Hopper, 40, and Larry Webster, 55, were arrested July 12 after a neighbor called 911 to report that he'd seen a man riding a lawnmower with a naked woman on his lap.
According to a probable cause statement posted on the website, Hopper and Webster, who both live in Joplin, told the sheriff's office that they'd been skinny dipping in a nearby creek when someone stole their clothes. They claimed they then happened on the lawnmower in the woods — and saw it as an easy solution to their transportation/nudity problem.
