The new Gamlin Restaurant Group concept being planned for the long-vacant corner of West Pine and Euclid will be called 1764 Public House — and it plans to offer "a vibrant nightlife scene," along with breakfast, lunch and dinner.
That's the latest from the restaurant group, which is also responsible for SubZero Vodka Bar and Gamlin Whiskey House, both also located in the heart of St. Louis' Central West End.
"1764 Public House will offer the casual, upscale environment that our guests have come to expect with our establishments while also bringing something new to the neighborhood. We want this to be a destination point in St. Louis, no matter what time day or night," said Gamlin Restaurant Group Proprietor Lucas Gamlin in a prepared release.
The name of the place refers to the year St. Louis was founded — with tributes to the city and its influences woven throughout the space.…
