
All the Aldi grocery store locations in the St. Louis are getting a makeover thanks to a $39 million renovation project.
The grocery store chain is a cult favorite, with customers constantly talking it up as the cheaper, off-brand version of its sister store, Trader Joe's. But unlike Trader Joe's, Aldi stores usually had a bare-bones, industrial appearance with slapdash organization, lighting that was a total buzzkill and color schemes that could be described as haphazard at best.
