A former college student was sentenced to nearly four years in federal prison today for using a fake name to enroll in school.Malachi Duncan, 32, pleaded guilty in July to aggravated identity theft and conspiracy to commit student loan fraud.
Authorities say the former Hillsboro resident used the identity of Demarcus Brewster, listed as a co-conspirator in the case, to enroll at Jefferson College and obtain financial aid, student housing and an on-campus job.…
