A 64-year-old man was punched in the face in a strong-arm robbery yesterday around noon in the heart of Cherokee Street.According to a GoFundMe page put up by his neighbor, the man was taking a walk for exercise. He was in the alley near the intersection of Cherokee and Ohio not far from the Angel Boutique Resale Shop when police say he was approached by a man who punched him in the face, knocking him to the ground, and then took his wallet.
The man is listed in critical/stable condition, according to the St. Louis Police Department.…
